Cat adoptions at PETsMART For a two-week period each month, about a dozen of our cats are in the adoption area at PETsMART, located in the shopping center at Eight Mile Road and Interstate 5 in Stockton (map). They are there for two weeks, then are back again four weeks later.
Dog adoptions at Discount Pet On the first, third and fifth full weekends of every month, dogs from the Stockton Animal Services Center are available for adoption at Discount Pet, located at 1140 West Hammer Lane in Stockton, at the intersection of Hammer Lane and Thornton Road (map).

Pets Behavin’ Badly Is your pet behavin’ badly? Dr. Penny Hodge donates her time to conduct a free class in which she addresses and provides help for pet behavior problems. The class is held on a schedule of two months on, one month off, always on the last Monday of the month.
